TIPRO and Texas Monthly – AAPL is pleased to recognize 19 members who were honored by the Texas Independent Producers and Royalty Owners Association (TIPRO), the publishers of Texas Monthly and the Best Companies Group as winners of the Texas’ Top Producers survey.
Professionals in the oil and gas industry were invited to vote on those they deemed worthy of recognition in the following categories: Best CEO, Best Geoscientist, Best Engineer and Best Landman.
AAPL swept the Best Landman group as all 16 honorees are members. The prestigious group includes the following:

The Times-Picayune – AAPL member Wayne Blankenship Jr, CPL wrote a letter to the editor in response to the article "Risk Versus Regulation Is a Dangerous Game to Play" written by Bob Marshall. The letter was published online and offers a pro-oil response to Marshall's opinion regarding the risks and rewards of our industry.
