Christine J. Touchstone, CPL

Christine Touchstone, CPL, is land manager at LeFrak Energy, the oil and gas division of the LeFrak Organization, a privately held real estate and investment company based in New York City. She manages LeFrak Energy’s many oil and gas assets in Alabama, Kentucky, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas and works with its acquisitions and divestitures team.

From 2007 until joining LeFrak Energy in 2011, Touchstone worked as a contract landman in the Eagle Ford and Barnett shales and the East Texas, Fort Trinidad and Cotton Valley Stockton fields for Petrohawk, Newfield Exploration, Red Oak Capital Management and TXCO. 

A Houston native, she earned a biomedical sciences degree from Texas A&M University, petroleum land management certification from the University of Texas Petroleum Extension Service in 2012, AAPL’s certified professional landman designation in 2014 and AAPL’s Renewable Energy Certificate in 2023. She is an active member of AAPL as well as its Alaska, Baton Rouge, Houston, North Houston and West Houston local associations. She serves on the Houston Association of Professional Landmen’s Gala and Saturday Seminar committees, is active in the Mentor Program, is a past chair of Executive Night and was HAPL’s Region IV AAPL director from 2022-2024. She has served on multiple AAPL committees, including RPL/CPL Review and Annual Meeting, was Education Development Chair in 2022-2023, is a Mentor Program participant and held the appointment of education czar for 2023-2024. She is also a member of the NAPE Operators Committee. 

Touchstone has been a member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo’s Wine Garden Committee for five years, is a past president of the Junior League of The Woodlands and formerly held a seat on the University of Houston Bauer College of Business “From Management to Leadership” Task Force. She enjoys traveling, reading, the beach, the family cabin in Alaska and spending quality time with family, friends and her fur baby, Gidget.
